• Receive support with breastfeeding and your conscious, healthy, and empowered transition into parenting.

• Assist you in feeding your precious one in the most intuitive and comfortable way for both mother and newborn. The first three weeks of learning to breastfeed are the most important. They set the stage for the duration of the journey.

  This service can also be used prenatally, for parents that will be moving forward on a surgical birth, planned induction or have a high-risk reason to bring you baby earthside sooner than expected. Will come to your home before your scheduled birthing time and guide you through the basic science behind lactation and how breastfeeding works. You will be able to practice several ways of holding baby during breastfeeding, learn about how to lay the foundation for a booming milk supply, avoid pain, and feel confident in the first few weeks postpartum, and ask any questions that you may have. You’ll get tips and suggestions on how to get ahead of the curve, as an intervention will have been set in place. This session is highly fruitful in preparing you for your breastfeeding relationship.

Postpartum belly binding is a tradition that has been passed down in many cultures to promote healing and well-being for the postpartum woman. It is one simple way to provide an ancient yet relevant practice for today’s postpartum mothers. It is somewhat misunderstood and thought to be ritualistic or ceremonial, when in reality the traditional cultures that practice it, see belly binding as more of a “common sense” approach to postpartum healing.

Will come to the comfort of your own home shortly after you have given birth and provides abdominal massage and belly wrapping. Breastfeeding support is also available.
